My team and I were tasked with developing the intention, strategy, and brand identity of a nonprofit organization focused on water-related issues. In determining our organization direction, we choose to address the pressing challenges of the global water crisis. Recognizing the importance of early education, we aimed to engage and educate children ages 3 to 10. We determined that our brand should center around the question:
“How can we encourage water awareness with youth to adapt sustainable practices and generate water abundance”
To address the question, we developed a children’s storybook titled “harold saves the day!” featuring our droplet mascot, Harold. This story book and harold is part of a larger effort to bring environmental learning into early education in a way that’s fun, meaningful, and easy to understand. Through storytelling, we hope to spark curiosity, build empathy for the planet, and help children form habits that supports a more sustainable future.
In developing our brand’s mascot, we aimed to create a character that would captivate and engage young audiences. The design process focused on crafting a highly expressive figure that embodies the essence of a water droplet. The approach ensures that the mascot resonates emotionally with children.

For the website, I was tasked with illustrating and prototyping the homepage. Our approach to the identity of the website was to strike a balance between playfulness and informativness, ensuring that the design engages children while providing valuable information to the parents about our organization.
For the motion graphic of the logo, I focused on creating an animation that simulates a droplet falling and generate ripples across the surface. The design choice was intentionally symbolic, reflecting the ripple effect that individual actions can have a positive impact on the environment.
